7up has been utilised FidoDido for a long time and i think it's time to change. Until i visited www.7up.com, they newly positioned 7up as a 100% natural drink by stripping of artificial ingredients and preservatives. Well i am not sure whether this is a good direction for PepsiCo. or not. But goodbye FidoDido, you are cute but you are not cool anymore.
Nothing is better than having Thai food in the afternoon and evening at the nice restaurants. I brought 2 cupcakes home to finish them while i was watching CSI DVD. (The favorite menu yesterday was fried egg noodle with minced pork and some herbs)
This is an ad of Soken DVD from Thailand, was launched last month by EuroRSCG Bangkok. It's funny ad. Non-Thai residents get it? (It's new Hi-Def DVD player product)
Last night i took some photos in front of my television around 1.00AM. To see what are on TV at 1.00AM in Thailand, please go to my flickr. Here are the samples
The below image is the mascot of 2008 Beijing Olympics. They were designed to express the playful qualities of five little children who form an intimate circle of friends, and also embody the natural characteristics of four of China's most popular animals -- the Fish, the Panda, the Tibetan Antelope, the Swallow--and the Olympic Flame. They are cute, aren't they?
Looking at the group of these colorful characters made me think of this picture instantly.
The coincidence of watching Madonna's Jump music video at gym and watching the CSI:NY DVD last night made me coming up with this post about "Parkour" or "Freerunning." Freerunning is really an urban culture and cool. Although i never experience it by myself but i think we will see it going mainstream. Let's guess in the near future, we may see the freerunning class at some schools.
Yesterday i went to the mall and while i was slowing my car to get a parking ticket, i was handed all these stuffs. 1. An ad of selling Honda cars, done by one dealership. 2.An ad of selling houses. 3.The red one is a CD of Benz A-class car information. When i get these rubbish ads, i usually throw them in the garbage. They are boring and not stylish. They are full of texts and cheap graphics. Luckily, i decided to keep Benz's CD. It's just worth to keep.
Running the Benz's CD, here are the sample. There was nothing much in the CD but at least i tried to explore.
I got a SIM card for free when i visited an auto part store on Sunday. They gave me this after i paid some money for their service. I am thinking of passing this to my friends before that i need to take a photo and write a post.
Unfortunately, i am not interested in this free item because i am loyal to the another competitor. It 's useless for me but useful for the other people.
I think a sense of humor is important for being a planner. I took it from Maxim magazine. It's a weekend, shall we read something funny to relax? A young man goes into a drug store to buy condoms. The pharmacist says the condoms come in packs of three, nine or 12, and asks which the young man wants. “Well,” he said, “I’ve been seeing this girl for a while and she’s really hot. I want the condoms because I think tonight’s ‘the night.’ We’re having dinner with her parents, and then we’re going out. And I’ve got a feeling I’m gonna get lucky after that. Once she’s had me, she’ll want me all the time, so you’d better give me the 12 pack.” The young man makes his purchase and leaves. Later that evening, he sits down to dinner with his girlfriend and her parents. He asks if he might give the blessing, and they agree. He begins the prayer, but continues praying for several minutes. The girl leans over and says, “You never told me that you were such a religious person.”He leans over to her and says, “You never told me that your father is a pharmacist.”
His name is Baby Milo, a sub-division of BAPE. BAPE or A Bathing Ape is a japanese clothing company, recently caught mainstream culture in the US on the account of popular entertainers eg. Jay-Z, Fall Out Boy, and Pharrell Williams.
BAPE products are limited and d*mn expensive. Due to the scarcity in conjunction with high price and high demand. They are facing conterfeit problem. I recently went to MBK shopping mall (Mike, remember this mall in Bangkok?) and found many bootlegged BAPE products. Personally, i really like Baby Milo and can't imagine of how difficult to identify which one is real or fake Baby Milo. I feel sad for him. Pity Ape.
Since the radio in my car has been out of order for a while, i shift to listen to the radio via my mobile phone. I am kinda addicted to it...umm... i dunno why i even listen to it at my home and i choose to listen from my phone not my super-duper radio. Now my favorite radio station is FM89.0 (Banana FM)...feeling like easy listening music addiction. Moreover, i have 7 favorite stations in my phone,FYI.
My dream comes true - my photo was showed in a museum. Okay...it's the fake dream. Have fun at www.dumpr.netand your dream will come true, like mine. Hahaha.. (Don't work too hard, get some fun)
This is a quote, "You must unlearn what you have learned" by Yoda : The Empire Strikes Back, from the book i am reading, Brand Hijack by Alex Wipperfurth.
I think learning new thing is essential but unlearning what you have learned is difficult, especially people like planner. Sometimes you have to discard an old information to step up a new things. You need to forget a traditional way of thinking in order to come up with an innovative campaign.
It's a long way to be Jedi master, but may the force be with you.
Looking at my previous post, i mentioned "no pic for this post." It means something to me. I have been trying to put some pics in every posts of my blog because it's easy to recall something by visual aid, not just only text title. Anybody get me?
It's Friday afternoon here, who wanna go out eating BBQ with me?
The author of Life after the 30-second spot, Joseph Jaffe, just signed the contract with Wiley for his new book. It will be released in Sep2007. Anyone who likes his contribution of the Life after the 30-second spot book shouldn't miss his new book.
Well, this post isn't an advertisement. (no pic for this post)
I found this website, "above the influence", from a magazine. The main idea is about being yourself - not letting people pressure you into being less than you. People do have the right to reject the negative influences. Moreover, the website told me to be the positive influence on other people.
I think this idea of "above the influence" and Dove campaign are alike, They are all about "being me."
This is one of many print ads i like.(copy : Some people will want a piece of your identity, changing it to fit what they think you should be, and others will want a piece of your time, wasting it with stuff like getting drunk and getting high and then another piece and another piece and... If everyone take a piece of you, what's left of you?)
